It's a good color for me and a good color for being noticed/seen. Also, it just confused the heck out of my Republican "friends".
And in high heels, I'm 6 ft tall and I towered over my opponent. We figure the red and the height it got me an extra 5-10% votes, though it still wasn't quite enough to win. I still did the best showing of any Democrat in this county for many, many years.
