President Obama, Best Republican President since President Clinton!!!
Wa-hoo!!!!

Sorry... I want a Democratic President like FDR and JFK.

Nay, America NEEDS a president like FDR and JFK, otherwise we will all suffer.

Doesn't mean I do not like some of what he said... It's just it is tainted with republican germs...

1. All the "Democratic" party seems capable of now -- creating vaguely, just-barely-better Republican
...Presidents.

They sure don't make Democratic presidents, in the once understood sense, anymore.

4. That is just spite.
They would be standing and applauding everything he said if he had an R next to his name.

misunderstand what the Cold Warrior said....

28. Yes, indeed.
Some of the rhetoric in JFK's foreign policy speeches would curl your hair.

The man was a Hawk, big time, and people that think he was some sort of shrinking violet vis-a-vis the military and Warsaw Pact aggression, they never listened to or read one of his speeches.

14. I guess you never listened to a Bush SOTU.
All that was in every one of his SOTU speeches as well.

Didn't make any of it true, but it sure sounded good!

24. oh please.
Congress will never pull those subsidies from big oil.

It sure sounded good though and you took it hook, line, and sinker.

Training 100K new teachers! Sure, training them to accept a new lower pay, greater work load, and lower benefit privatized job.

woohoo!!11!

11. America needs a president who will round up thousands of Americans
based on their ethnicity and put them into camps?

I wonder what you'd say if Obama did that.

Please tell me what fairy tales you are talking about? Please don't use republican talking points as those are the only people who say FDR's and JFK's success are fairy tales.

15. Ok, time for a clarification...
President Clinton was a good president, but Clinton set forth policies that lead to
grave problems for the USA... like NAFTA, WTO, repeal of Glass-Steagal, Telecommunications Act.

Obama, too, has done some good things, even great things... However, I fear the same taint as Clinton has done.

So my message - we as citizens, and as progressives, liberals, and Democrats MUST keep on fighting for OUR ideals and
NOT republican ideas.

Get it?
