8. I loved that book but never a saw the movie.
I hiked alone over snow in late spring to Paradise Lake below King's Castle in the Marble Mountain Wilderness Spring 1995 to a melting island of montain meadow and lake and also read Jitter Bug Perfume besides Princess Bride. Black bears got nervously close but they were more interested in mating. ec etc.
