Did Bachmann just reference Iwo Jima war imagery in regards to Obama being a totalitarian
Edited on Tue Jan-25-11 11:14 PM by Divine Discontent
that needed to be fought for his debt spending that will destroy the country?

She was just referencing the national debt, and whipped right into the image of the battle of Iwo Jima, and said how we're on the verge of great change in the country.

Anyone else catch that?

on edit - I'm seeing on twitter feeds that people are questioning her blatant war imagery and the battle against the president with the budget --

Michele Bachmann stares to the right of the camera; proceeds to compare Iwo Jima to the debt crisis. #sotu #fail #usa 8 minutes ago via Twitter

mcurtisnc3‎ Must be getting late. I'm still trying to figure out the Iwo Jima-deficit connection in #Bachmann speech. #SOTU

amyewest‎ Little slow in processing #bachmann. So, we're supposed to retake Iwo Jima to liberate job creators from tyrannical healthcare debt?

amyjwalker‎ Weren't there 5 men raising the flag at Iwo Jima, not 6? And what was the point of that, anyway? I missed something. #Bachmann

5. yeah, she said we have to do something about the debt amassed the past couple years... wow,
just forget out that other 10+ billion that her and her colleagues created.

And I just saw Debbie Wasserman Schultz standing next to Alan Grayson's replacement in Congress... gag. He's a dolt.
