Ms. Bachmann's brief remarks were billed as a Tea Party response, sponsored in part by the Tea Party Express, one of the groups leading the movement that swept Republicans into office in November.

But in an oddity, the Web site for the Tea Party Express ignored Ms. Bachmann completely.

While CNN broadcast her remarks live, the Tea Party Express Web site instead broadcast a live stream from the White House featuring aides taking questions and talking about Mr. Obama's speech.
