Is there still time for another UNREC option?

It would be nice to see an additional figure added to the REC/UNREC buttons...like, how many votes have been cast in either direction. For instance, it will show that 20 people gave positive recs, but 5 gave negative recs, resulting in a NET RECS of 15. The figure is made meaningless now because you have no idea how many people have actually voted one way or another.

Just a thought.

Adding more data won't satisfy the small but ultra vocal minority who fears people disagreeing.

Instead the most outlandish and unsupported rants will be recced up to the top.

I think they took it away because it could end up showing how radically unpopular a thread (or its starter?) was. And the purpose isn't to show that; it's to grade the 'great' threads. So '0' does fine as 'not popular'.

You can work it out with the ones that appear in the 'New and Hot' and 'Just Recs' parts of the 'Top Tens' page. But the chances are those won't be really unpopular.
