Bachman? Hilarious. I wonder if Palin is going to make fun of her odd use of the teleprompter.
But more hilarious than that was the response of the CNN gasbags, who said she reinforced Ryan's Reaganesque message, but (according to David Gergen) with more facts and figures.

Really, WTF CNN, are they getting foxier than fox or what. Even conned-servatives who worship Bachmann were embarrassed by that speech, how did they talk about it with a straight face.

2. Additionally, where was the left-wing counter-weight

to right-wing gasbag Erick Erickson on that CNN panel? IIRC, it was composed of a couple of journalists, conservative-leaning David Gergen, and this far rightie. Apparently the cons, even after an election that went pretty well for them, still need the "affirmative action" policy of being overrepresented on these kinds of panels. I thought CNN was done being FAUX-lite and trying to be the ultra-"objective", middle-of-the-road channel, so what's the deal here? I don't recall them bringing on, say, Michael Moore to discuss Bush's State of the Union addresses with their journalists.

Not that the media has maintained a standard of deep intelligence in more recent years, but to validate such a true dimwit as Bachmann sends CNN plummetting into Fox Freefall mode.

The dumbing down of America continues at an astonishing rate. Yeah, it's hilarious, but frightening as well.
