There's not a dime's worth of difference between George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton

There's not a dime's worth of difference between Bill Clinton and Bob Dole

There's not a dime's worth of difference between Al Gore and George Dubya Bush

There's not a dime's worth of difference between George Bush and John Kerry

There's not a dime's worth of difference between Barack Obama and John McCain

There's not a dime's worth of difference between Barack Obama and .....?


Now imagine just what a difference there might have been in this country had all those
democrats won.

1. Probably very little
as has been so starkly demonstrated to us the past two years, the basic agenda doesn't change when the party does

They do the bidding of Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan regardless of party.

That is where this country is at right now.

3. Democratic voters & Republican voters fight over divisive, polarizing issues while corporatist fund
candidates from both parties.

Independents who could control the situation and return government to We the People don't have a third party as an option.

Net result is We the Corporations own, OWN the two parties and We the People are without real representation in OUR government.

Damn We the Corporations and the corporatists who pull the strings of their puppet high priests of mammon who sit in the 545 seats of OUR GOVERNMENT!

Unless We the People revolt and win at the ballot box, we may as well learn a new pledge.

9. Great post. Just imagine if so called progressives didn't get their
knickers in a wad if they don't get what they want five minutes into a Democratic administrations, and throw the elections to the repukes to SHOW THEM. :eyes:

11. There were vast differences in Reagan and GW Bush. GW was way more extreme.
And ironically HW Bush was less radical than Reagan. But now we have passed the rubicon, so to speak. We are much more far right now than in 1980. Nobody from either party is reversing that trend.
