Life in A Day: The Story of a Single Day on Earth is being broadcasted
live right now on youtube. . .as it premieres tonight at the Sundance Festival.

Life in A Day was a project launched last summer to ask people all over the world to submit small videos chronicling their lives that day - from the mundane to the profound. Apparently, thousands of videos were submitted and the result was edited into a fascinating documentary starring common people all over the world - all involved in living their lives on a single day in July, 2010. I find it really interesting. . .I've seen clips of a mother going into her teenage son's bedroom to nag him to get up (and clean his room)...haha. . .a heart patient who has just been operated. . .the birth of a new human child and the birth of a giraffe. . .

Anyway, if anyone is interested, it's on right now at:

2. Absolutely remarkable and stunningly beautiful film filled with beautiful people!
The bottom line is, all any of us wants, no matter where we come from or our station in life, we all just want to be loved and we want to be happy.

And the music was just sublime.

Highly recommended.

3. I didn't expect it to be this amazing. . .
I almost cried at times...and laughed several times. . .it is hard to believe they put together something so moving from 4500 hours of submitted video.

And I agree - the music was wonderful. There are just so many great moments - I hope this gets distributed, or they provide access for this film for a long time.

4. I'll admit a couple of dewy-eyed moments. I also laughed a few times.
I was quite moved by it and could not take my eyes away despite having planned on having it play to the side while I got some work done on another machine. Needless to say I didn't get any work done, lol.
