Breaking: Millions of Americans Protesting |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-28-11 07:41 AM by Dover
vicariously.
It's really the most secure way to enjoy the revolution while not soiling one's new pants. And certainly less messy than participating in our OWN revolution.
Pass the popcorn  GO EGYPTIANS! GO TUNISIANS! GO AMERICANS!

I think you missed the point. I think this country would rather watch the revolution in OTHER countries than participate in our own. And, in any case, waiting for "the administration" or someone else to do the dirty work of change IS my point... armchair revolutionaries.

|
and doesn't it make us so grateful that WE don't have any problems! What a relief.

|
out. The Egyptian protesters are not referring to Saudi Arabia in a positive way. Iran also has the opportunity.

10. You know, I don't think it helps that tv coverage is minimal. Perhaps waiting for it to die off |
|
then report it, deliberate effort to under report the multiple uprisings in the hopes that "we" don't notice or like usual, M$M news is always days (if not weeks and months) behind the fast-paced, real-time power of the internet. How long can news this big be stamped down?
I remember the huge anti-war protests that never managed to receive the air time it deserved. They control it all and want to control and kill at will the internet too.
