18. That is unfortunate.
Our first lady is really working there. She is not just walking through dropping of a few gifts to have a photo taken. Her heart is in a good place.

16. Those toys were made by CORPORATIONS!!11!
The public is encouraged to buy those toys made by corporations and donate them to Toys for Tots. It's all an elaborate scam to please the corporations.

:sarcasm:

But I'm afraid if I was helping him, I'd be too distracted.

21. Staff Sergeant if you please
Knowing the crotch that man has worked hard and deserves the credit for the extra chevrons for the E-8 pay grade. Both those NCOs look pleased and sharp.Staff Sergeant Sharpe is looking good in his dress blues, tennis shoes, and a light coat of oil- no disrespect ask any former gyrene. As others have suggested it will be interesting to see how this is reported in the wingnut media. One wonders if Princess Sparkle Caribou, or any other of the wingnut harpies will be so classless as to flap their lips.

14. I love Mrs. Obama but I don't trust any parent with Playdoh.
I'd like to see some follow up photos and get some sort of assurance that neither Mrs Obama or any other parent sorting toys didn't confiscate the Playdoh. ( I still find little lumps of my nieces playdoh some times and its been at least 8 years since she played with it in our house)

Edited on Sat Dec-18-10 10:39 AM by madmax
Our First Lady is REAL.

You can see that she's not in foreign territory lugging things around and doing 'manual labor'. She worked hard to get her education and to become successful. She wasn't born into it or handed an easy life.

These pics are great!! Thanks :hi:

who performs the same warm and fuzzy photo-op social duties of any good Republican president's wife.
