We already tax the wealthy. They pay the majority of the taxes. I paid $52,635.00 in income tax this year and will probably owe more.

50% of the population paid nothing. The wealthy not among them.

Tax everyone that is the only fair and viable solution.

Congratulations on your good fortune, O. It is a great blessing to receive abundance from the work one does; an abundance that requires $53K+ in taxes is commendable and significant. In fact, it is sufficient that you should be able to afford the simple understanding that there are millions who toil rigorously without receiving similar benefit; their work is hard and their labors are no less vital than anyone else's, but their compensation is nowhere near to your own. And your only response to that is your continuing belief that your greater reward is being abused unless those who have less are required to take on proportionately larger hardship and outright deprivation.
