George W. Bush is still pretty mad at Scott McClellan

<snip>

Per CNN, Bush says in an interview set to air this weekend on C-SPAN that he excluded McClellan from his recent memoir, "Decision Points," because his longtime aide was irrelevant.

"He was not part of a major decision," Bush said. "This is a book about decisions. This isn't a book about, you know, personalities or gossip or settling scores."

McClellan, who began working for Bush during the 2000 presidential campaign, served as White House Press Secretary for three years at the height of the war in Iraq. He left the post in 2006 and in 2008 published a memoir critical of his former boss and his handling of the war.

Bush notably omitted any mention of McClellan in his book, even though he went out of his way to praise his successors, including former press secretary Dana Perino.

"I didn't think he was relevant," Bush tells C-SPAN.

I got it at the DOLLAR STORE last year. He basically talks about the Bush White House being in permanent "political campaign mode". All they thought about was scoring political points against their critics. PlameGate being the most obvious example.

Many stories of him being given false information before being sent to the Press Room. He seems like an honest guy, they used him very badly.

5. This would make sense
His Mommy had a big falling out with the Texas Republican Party and governor Perry.

Carole Keeton McClellan Rylander Strayhorn was the Comptroller who publicly feuded with Perry. She was an ex-Democrat. As I recall, didn't Scott McClellan vote for Obama?

8. I remember watching
the Grammys when Best Song was awarded to something titled (something like) "It's Hard Out Here For a Pimp". My immediate thought was that the song would be an appropriate theme for Scotty. . .
