I first heard about Egypt here on DU. As is so often the case, |
|
DUers are aware and on top of events before our 'news' organizations get wind or realize the importance.
So another grateful thank you to DU! :headbang:

3. I read something about Egypt two days ago on DU. |
|
I asked my hubby, who has more time to keep up with the news, if he knew what was going on with Egypt. "Haven't heard or read anything," he said. Next day, he asked, "Where did you read about Egypt?"
"On DU," I said.
"I should have known," he said. "You do that a lot - ask about something & then a day or two later it finally hits the MSM."
"Latest Breaking News!" I told him.

DU is well ahead in breaking international news. not having a corporate master to obey is good for the free flow of information, who knew? :patriot:
