3. No, it's because people all over the world have been using

Twitter to follow history in the making. It was slow all day yesterday.

People were posting from inside Egypt, even after they shut down the internet and the best way to get up to date reports was from Twitter.

Today, I am seeing reports we saw from individuals on twitter yesterday. The U.S.. media had the worst 'reporting' if you could call it that.

Kudos to ordinary citizens for getting the news out ~

7. I read something yesterday about proxies

that protesters were still used proxy servers to get to twitter and facebook. I guess that's why the Egyptian gov't shut down internet services completely. Bastards. Wonder how they are doing it today?
