Barack Obama. His visit in 2009 spurred on the younger generation to want democracy.

Teabagger idiot thinks it's a spiffy new meme.

8. Blame? I say "Credit". He single-handedly brought Democracy to Egypt...
without spilling one drop of American blood or spending our "treasure" (gwad, how I hate that term).

10. I heard the into to that so flipped back to MSNBC. What dicks. Anything for
a ratings surge.

(They DID have an interesting piece from an "iReporter" who was there w/his daughter on vacation! They provided footage from their hotel room of a huge crowd of protestors on some bridge - dramatic. Both the dad and daughter were relaying their experiences, they were confined to the hotel (above the 4th floor, I think she said), there was a LOT of security around the hotel, metal detectors, etc., so she felt they were safe. I hope they are and will come home soon.)

14. We can only WISH Obama's visit sparked the Democracy Revolution.
The USA is supposed to encourage Democratic Revolution, isn't it.

Just because the ruling class doesn't want true democracy (too messy) doesn't mean that everybody else should oppose it.

Very telling CNN thinks this is a bad thing.

16. Blame?
If he caused them to want democracy RIGHT FUCKING NOW, then, I'd say credit is more deserved than blame. But, did he really cause it?
