8. Oh please
And all of our crap is made in China. So if tear gas that was made in China were to ever be used on our population, would it be the fault of the Chinese government for producing it, or our government for buying it and using it on us?

10. With our record of meddling in the Middle East (and that is how the folks there see it)
I could see why they'd be pissed off when they pick up a tear gas canister that says "Made in U.S.A."

I mean, if China meddled in our policies and tried to force their communism and non-religion on the majority of American's, yeah, we'd be pissed.

Edited on Fri Jan-28-11 08:38 PM by eissa
Trust me, I'm from there. There is plenty of blame to go around. HOWEVER, enough already with blaming everyone but themselves. Arabs have for far too long pointed the finger at the outside while making excuses for their own governments. It's time to call a spade a spade; the repressive regimes in the ME have exploited everything from the Palestinian issue to cartoons in an effort to keep their citizenry down. Arab armies are generally trained to protect their governments from its own people rather than fight invading countries. Do we provide ammunition? Yeah, we do. But they are more than willing to use them on their own people.

What... Egypt couldn't subcontract to produce their own Tear Gas???

Or at least their own labels, that identified the deliverers???

22. I recall that shit well from the 60's when they unleashed it on us for protesting
the Viet Nam war. And it was made in the USA, and used against students who had had it with endless war and deaths. And then they shot down some students at Kent State.

Edited on Fri Jan-28-11 11:50 PM by pacalo
Some of the few factories left in the US are making products that are destructive to human life? I don't feel good as an American seeing that picture, especially when it concerns protests for human rights.

People don't get out in the streets to face guns, batons, & tear gas unless they have a GOOD reason.

If it supports the military industrial corporate complex, it's made in the USA.
