1. My brother, who isn't into politics, was watching a little MSNBC w/me this morning,
and I read him part of the interview from Democracy Now about how those earning less than $20K will actually be paying a little more tax and he looked at me and said "is there a feeling among those who supported him, a sense of betrayal?"

He supported him, too, but isn't as into it as I am.

I just sent him this and he said "Excellent!"

And I concur.

6. My husband used to avoid politics, but he respects MSNBC programming.
He's learned a lot & has really caught on to the Republicans' shenanigans because of MSNBC. He saw a clip of McConnell & said, "I'd like to punch his face.". Hahaaa!

Obama doesn't seem to appreciate our anger at his preference in stepping on us in order to please the Republicans, which only makes me angrier. I keep thinking of all the Democratic talking heads using the same line about our anger: "They have nowhere else to go."

But unlike the comic guy, I already put down the obama rah, rah, sign long ago..and add a target on my head ,put a few people standing there around me convinced there is no shit falling from the sky, saying rude stuff to me,as I point up,as I have since the 80's ,cringing as I stand there like most everyone else is, a poufed out cat with wild eyes, bracing for the impact, wishing I had a teeny wile.e.coyote umbrella.because if I can't laugh I'd do this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=dWamxEDcqiQ
there you'll have how it all feels to me.

8. Well, they got the "shit" part of it right.
Who leveraged Obama's reality outside of the Republicans? And who says that the people embraces the Republican reality?

:grr:
