Who's the woman from Al Jazeera, who is the other person, what is each person's background, what is either of them saying, which might shed a little light on why one or the other is saying what he or she is saying, where are they. I presume the when is now or fairly recently.

Don't have her name - he is Boutros (sp), a member of the NDP, the ruling party.
Mubarak just named his first VP in 30 years, the former intelligence chief Omar Suleiman.
The Al Jazeera lady (like most persond being interviewed) is against the appointment and the party hack was trying to defend it. She believes the appointment is merely to calm the US and Israeli governments. She also wanted to know why he appointed a VP after 30years and whether it could be viewed as anything other than an attempt to hold on to power.
