So what is a guy who admits that he 'might' cut a bunny in two with a chain saw still doing on the air?

Where's the outrage? To go on TV and admit you might cut a bunny in half with a chain saw seems like a desperate cry for help to me. Is Rupert Murdoch really as tone deaf as Rupert Pupkin?

What is FOX's reaction going to be when he actually does cut the bunny in half. Again, by his own admission, he might.

Oh, I forget. Of course, they don't approve, and couldn't of known, and bear absolutely no responsibility.

Meanwhile, ask yourself this? How close would you let your kids get to any adult who admits he 'might' chainsaw a bunny in half. It's just a sick notion offered by an obviously sick mind. I'm telling you, sane people never think about chain sawing a bunny rabbits in half, never; much less threaten to do it on national TV. Really, the type of statement that should disqualify Glenn Beck from ever being taken seriously forever. Except maybe by the police as a potential Producer of Crush Films and Snuff Movies.

11. His success is based on saying and doing outrageous things

And in order to maintain that success, the things he does must always get progressively more outrageous. He is appealing to dumbasses with very short attention spans. If he keeps saying the same thing day after day their eyes will glaze over and he'll become irrelevant. Some day he'll cross the line and say or do something that will end his career.

It's more or less what happened to Ann Coulter. She got invited to cable shows all the time because of the nasty things she said about "liberals". But audience soon tired of the repetition and she had to say nuttier things. After a while those things grew old and tired so she had to go further and further until she wasn't "provocative" or "scandalous" anymore, she was just crazy. So now you rarely see her.

Beck may be the flavor of the day with the hicks. But he'll eventually flame out of his own excesses.

Meanwhile I can't get too excited because he says he might chainsaw a bunny in half. He's doing that to get a reaction and it works.
