13. Oh, man... you didn't even need that sarcasm thing...
On second thought.... I was at an event (political) last evening, and based on the number of people who occasionally looked up at the tv screen and said, "no, I didn't hear, what's THAT about?", maybe you do!

3. People are suggesting that he's trying to avoid a military
coup so he's appointing military VPs - a 1st VP Suleiman and 2nd VP also from the military.

4. From the link:
Omar Suleiman (Arabic: عمر سليمان‎; born July 2, 1936) is the current Vice President of Egypt, and was formerly a minister without portfolio and director of the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate (EGID), the national intelligence agency of Egypt. He has been in office since 1993. In his role as director of EGID, the British Daily Telegraph dubbed him as "one of the world's most powerful spy chiefs". Foreign Policy magazine ranked him the Middle East's most powerful intelligence chief, ahead of Mossad chief Meir Dagan.<1><2>

17. Here's something else you might want to read
http://ducis.jhfc.duke.edu/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/ghost-plane.pdf (Ghost Plane/US extraordinary rendition) - more on Suleiman)

If it won't load(the web page), just download and open in your Adobe reader.

11. THe egyptian people are onto this
Mubarak is not speaking to the people, he's giving a wink and nod to the military. New Prime Minister is from the military. At least that's my understanding.

15. CNN said it-takes-a-thug "in that part of the world" and that he threw Al Quaida out in the '90s
and that he has been a frequent, no-profile visitor to (D.C.?) for years.
