1. I've Been Saying This For Years
Football is Socialist because the team that wins the Super Bowl picks last in the draft and the team that finishes with the worst record picks first. If you give the worst team the #1 pick, you give them no incentive to get better!!! And by punishing the team that wins the Super Bowl, you give them no incentive to continue to win!!! Right? Right?

2. Ok, I get it. Republicon fans are Secret Socialists
Figures. They are hypocrites on everything else. Why should football be special for them?

6. Wrong! Wrong!

Football is socialist because all the players work together, each doing what they're best at, for the greater glory of the team/community.

I have to admit, however, that the individual strutting and posturing after a play, weakens the premise.

4. Yep, I thought it was brilliant, too.
I wonder if Maher invites Republicans on to the show just to humiliate them with facts in his "New Rules" where they have to sit and listen.

5. That slimy republican from GA seated at Maher's right has a "smirk-smile" identical to Cantor's. He
must have been sick when Bill whacked the republicans with the NFL-MLB comparison. So true, especially the fact that the team that wins the Superbowl gets the last draft pick and the team with the worst record picks first; republicans would call that "punishing success".

8. if you want to really feak out right-wingers, tell them that marriage is socialism
the government enforces, through divorce laws, that property accumulated during marriage is equitably split, essentially regardless of the actual contributions of the spouses.

where are the right-wing judges telling now-single parents that they should take "personal responsibility" for not having earned and saved money during the marriage? where are the right-wing politicians saying the high-income earners should be able to keep what they earned?

marriage is essentially two-person socialism.
