Wedeman says source inside govt saying Mubarak appointed Suleiman as his direct successor and that Mubarak is expected to resign.

He's a Mubarak man and that will not satisfy the protestors.
Only way I can see it stopping is El Baradei leading an interim gov't.

as an interim leader? Mubarak surely will not do it.
I have been thinking of an interim military leader, or a military junta, to rule until elections can be held.
Then ElBaradei could run, and probably would have a decent chance, because the U.S./Israel will do everything possible to keep a Brotherhood candidate from getting elected.
