Here I am. I will admit that I only post good polling news. I will also admit that I have some differences with President Obama. Mostly that he doesn't fight hard enough for some of the issues he and I both beleive in. However, I can't help but admire the guy. I worked for him in 2008 and contributed and I intend to do the same next year. I know he's the best we're going to get and we better make the most of it. I lived through Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush 1 and 2. I know what the other side has in store for me. Hey, I wish I could have Obama do everything I want all the time, but he's not. But as I said, he's the best I'm getting and I'm not going to jeopardize that.

First, thanks to the DUers that rec'd this post.

but a little analysis of the current poll at Gallup. If the 50% approval number starts Obama's vote total, if the election was held today. And the 9% with no opinion broke 5% to 4% against. The President would beat a hypothetical opponent by a 54% to 46% landslide in the proportion of Clinton vs. Dole (1996) or Reagan vs. Mondale (1984).

Just saying.
