Body of teacher missing after writing 'Thank you everyone' on board found in creekbed
Body of missing San Rafael teacher found

The body of a missing San Rafael schoolteacher was found in a creekbed Saturday, not too far from her home in Ross, according to her family.

Debra Schmitt, 53, a teacher at Terra Linda High School, had last been seen in Ross on Jan. 19. Searchers had scoured Golden Gate Park and other parks in San Francisco. Her body was found in a creekbed near her home, said Linda Czarnik, Schmitt's cousin, citing a phone call she received from Ross police.

The cause of her death won't be determined until after an autopsy by the Marin County coroner.

Schmitt was going through a divorce and had lost three close relatives over the past year, but it's not known whether those events played a role in her disappearance, Czarnik said.

Well, allow me to suggest that those events had a lot to do with it.

8. Which one?...
The divorce?...Unless I read it too quickly, it seems like that would be the only one likely

to have engendered hostility.

9. I was thinking the three close relatives, but that's just me.
But the sum of them all deserves consideration, things can pile up on you, especially if you don't have the right sort of support.

10. You presume a hostile cause ....
You seem to ignore the more likely reason; self caused.

Why is that ?

7. I used to live in a house on a ridge overlooking that school.
Terra Linda is a pretty tight-knit community and the schools are not all that large.

Poor woman...
