Repukes won't let the govt default - that could cause an Egpyt-like cataclysm |
|
Any thoughts that the filthy pigs who make up the Repuke caucus had of not raising the debt ceiling - basically bringing the government to a halt - were, I am certain, removed by watching Egypt in action. If they actually go through with the threats (mostly lies) of last week, and shut down the government, they run the risk of DC turning into Alexandria, and their own despicable selves becoming Mubarak. OTOH, if they maintain the status quo, and let their Goebblesesque media create a favorable reality for them, their lives and careers will be spared.

1. I'm not so sure about that... |
|
There is so much of the Perry-Palin seccessionism in the tea-baggers and so much of the 'starve the beast' in the standard GOP-on-US that I sometimes wonder if disillusion isn't their goal.

3. The teabaggers are in charge of the House now and they control the republican |

caucus in the Senate. The House will vote to kill raising the debt ceiling. They are crazy.

The teabaggers were only used to get the majority. The real entrenched Goopers like McTurtle don't have any real use for them. The thought of DC turning into Cairo makes that ugly pansy piss his pants. A media-controlled phony "revolution" like the tebaggers is one thing. An actual one is much different, and they know it.

5. The teabagger votes in the House will control everything they do. Likewise in the |
|
Senate where they can filibuster everything now.
