The repiglican party thinks everyone should "be prosperous"
but they can's understand that the average person works as hard as the "prosperous" people; they just work in honorable jobs that don't pay them prosperously. I heard this before. They say that the American dream is there if you work hard and improve yourself and people like us Democrats are hurting those who we give assistance to by not allowing them to pull themselves up by their boot straps.

But what about all the people who just want to make an honest 40 hour/week job with a decent wage? The repiglicans don't say how that person will become more prosperous but the imply that the person go back to school, get an education, work in an office and move up "the ladder".

They can't get it into their stupid little piglet heads that most people do not want to make a million dollars. Most people want a nice home, enough money to live a peaceful happy life with the ability to take yearly vacations and to help their children go through college.

That was the American dream.

What about the people who clean the "I'm a Republican success story's" house? Or cut their grass, fix their cars, do their taxes, fix their computers, drive them downtown to do some shopping?

I don't want to say all or most so I'll say a good number of America's "successes" feel superior to all those who cut their grass and fix theirs cars. And what I'd like to say is cutting someone's grass is as honorable and valuable as a top executive in a Fortune 500 company. Both provide services that other people need.

Repiglicans want everyone who wants to live nicely in this country to become rich but they never stop to realize that people want to do jobs that, in this day, won't make them rich or even not poor.

When the country becomes a place where all people can obtain prosperous things as a matter of being an American that is truly when we can call ourselves, "prosperous".

2. The Republicans are clueless
many people are not capable of boiling an egg or be trained to do so. The Republicans' argument is ridiculous. Many people need assistance.
The Republicans' manifesto is based on greed and finding ways of being people-unfriendly and leaving people to starve (and die).

4. Ferengi mentality = Repug Capitalist mentality.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferengi

-The Ferengi realize that Humans and other species often look down on them for their ravenous profiteering and lack of independent technological or cultural achievements. However, Ferengi often see other races as self-righteous and, as Ferengi have come into regular contact with Humans, their own self-image has improved by comparison. While their criticism that Humans took well over 6,000 years to develop a central banking system after the beginning of their civilization may seem lacking in moral force, other arguments can be more convincing.

-In theory, every business transaction that a Ferengi makes is governed by two hundred eighty-five Rules of Acquisition, though the rules themselves give the Ferengi license to cheat, steal, and bend the truth to suit their needs.

In some ways they are more evolved and logical....
-The Ferengi consider pregnancy to be a rental, with the father being termed the lessee.

5. Another thing they seem to not be able to figure
is that there are just so many top jobs. Just because you work hard, get all the degrees in the world and try to make it to the top, only a handful will because that is all that is needed.

Just like now when there are no jobs - period, they can't conceive of that...it's people aren't looking and being lazy, to them.

6. People want real value in exchange for the real value of their time & labor. Success is
earning what you need and want and lots of people don't want the big overblown lifestyles we are constantly told that we want. They want a decent life, some pleasure, and some time of their own. And a whole lot of people don't want to run the rat race and give more and more and more all of the time, just to stay in place.

9. I found this after I listened to The Beatles, (good song)
It is very short and has nothing to do with the subject except for the word piggy.

10. Still trying to sell fairy tails to people, and too many actually believe it.
Jesus loves you.
You don't need anything but God.
Work hard and you will be set for life.
Find a spouse and live happily ever after.
When you die at 100 you will go to heaven forever and be with Jesus.

All sounds nice, but it's all crap. And when/if they find out it's crap, they end up in divorce, broke and disillusioned and end up joining the tea party.
