Does anyone know if LIHEAP got more funds? |
|
It's going to be a very cold winter for those of us relying on oil otherwise.

3. Last year, we got about $1050 |

This year, we got $400. Considering that that $400 wouldn't even fill the tank once, it's a terrible dilemma for those of us so dependent on oil. I've bitched about it before, but it's difficult to get through a New England winter with no heat. Considering how many people are already homeless, I sincerely hope that there are no major fires from people trying to keep warm in abandoned buildings. Here in Worcester, 5 firemen died awhile back from that very problem. It's so sad that we can't help out others who desperately need our help.
