11. Before the locals spread Caltrops on the runway
It's very difficult to take off when all of the plane's tires are flat.

5. To think that even Democratic pundits call that crap rational journalism
I splut my brain a bit every time I hear our side deride Fox and then validate CNN.

8. You know the people of Egypt are going to consult her!
After hours of shouting in the streets for ousting Mubarek, they're going to stop and say, "Oh, the lady on CNN thinks Mubarek should stay? Hmmm.....good idea!" :eyes:

6. It would be funny if it were not such an example of why
Americans know so little about what is going in the world. I'm sure most Americans still think Mubarak is a good guy, 'not a dictator' as Joe said.

'Stability'. You know if I were her boss I'd send her to live in Uzbekistan for six months. The woman needs to experience what it means to live under a dictatorshop.

In fact, if I were God, I'd send every ignorant MIC supporter to live under some of our dictator friends for six months.

Some people don't need the actual experience as they possess a human quality called 'empathy'. But there is not a shred of understanding of what those people have lived through, even watching the sheer joy they feel at being able to speak for the first time even with the risk of death, among our ruling class and their sycophants who only want to believe that we would never, ever support a dictator so if we're supporting him, he MUST be a good guy.

9. It's easier than that
Have those people live without their money or contacts for 2 years.

They can have the experience of living in a 3rd world nation with no voice without getting on a plane.

10. Every country has strengths and weaknesses
But when I hear the rote, "America is the best country in the world" crap - I want to wretch. I've been to 3rd world and developing countries that treat their citizens better than here. And the line, "Land of the free, home of the brave" has been ruined by Republican chicken hawks and false patriots here.
Other countries are more free than we imagine, while our "friends" are dictatorships.

The world is not so propagandized as we are. Lets hope they are less hateful and don't one day say, "bomb their butts into the stoneage".
