2. I was thinking about that this weekend too
that we would all be so much better off if we hadn't watched tv but had, instead, gone down to Florida and ousted the fake Republican operative "riot" in Dade County.

...and, honestly, that moment was a lesson for me.

and a lot of other people. I don't think Americans would be so willing to let the same thing happen again - I say - but then I see the Supreme Court continue its usurpation of democracy with fascism with the Citizens United ruling.

12. You could have come to Palm Beach County Also
And helped us prove to the American people that we surely meant to "punch" our cards for Gore. If anyone was devestated, we were. What a cluster Fuck that was!

4. They might try and take your beer and travel money if you protest such things in the USA
Although there really is something to level of what is acceptable and what is not. If a society is in an acceptable situation, they will many times accept some more hardship since it is easier to accept something then say it is wrong if they use a worse or worser choice system.

Not really sure where that point is with everyone, and different for different people, but the equation of social control is slow change to despotism so that people will accept it, although if there is an imbalance in situations for groups, then it is a comparative look at situations not a 'where you are' versus 'what your memory tells you you should be at'.

So if they were going to austerities the world, they have to break up the consolidations, since comparative situations are as much to people as where they are versus where they think they should be.

It is a simple process, it has a few wtf in it, and a few why? in it, then thought and feeling, then expression and action.

However all of that could be theoretically monitored, so their is a group that thinks it will never happen here, and from that allow consolidations that create bad situations, and many with much more then they need don't think to pay the beer and travel money that is due.

and I am still due beer and travel money.

6. It wont be long because corporatists can not stop themselves
and there is no opposition party to enable a smooth transition to what is enevitable. It'll get messy.

11. To bad we couldn't wait 30 years and have a revolution like the Egyption people?
You're acting like they are protested an election that just happened. Mubarak (sp?) has been in office for 30 years now.

I'm sure if Bush had won again in 2008 against Obama we probably would have. In 2000 we did things the correct way and started organizing to take power back, which we did. The Egyptions didn't really have any other option than Mubarak.
