On RW propaganda and how slick it is
so here I am turned in to FOX, so you don't have to... and this is how slick they are. While one minute they talk to a Brookings analyst (that is liberal, left wing. CATO must be busy looking for the new neo liberal lines)... the next they start talking to their regular stable on how liberal judges don't listen to sentencing guidelines and how a HAMAS terrarist sentence has dropped to 30 years.

Now the guy they are talking about is actually Al Qaida... no we don't have Hamas... nor is Hamas in Pakistan...

Yes I turned it away... but I must say... the fear is done very slickly... that five minutes of hate... I guess the talking point at CATO and other Neo Liberal fun places is that Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood are the same thing (and of course connected to Iran). Don't get me started on all the wrong headedness of that.

Oy...

Their average viewer though cannot tell any of this appart. I mean an Aryab is an Aryab and we must fear all of them!

2. Many of the old-timey musical films weren't so well choreographed.
Suspension of disbelief (and all ties to reality) among Fox viewers is at an all-time high.

Derision and laughter is the only way to deal with this level of willful stupidity.

3. The Brookings Institute is neither left or right wing
If someone has a Phd and a sponsorship, they may join. Just because an entity has some "left wing" members, does not make it a "left wing" organization!

10. One of the repeatings "meme's" if you will I saw from Tweeters in Cairo today was
How the Western media kept trying to turn the uprising into a "Muslim takeover of the Middle East starting with Egypt" story. They were getting really pissed off. Saying if they wanted to be ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood it was up to them to decide, not the Western media. So, in the arena of foreign relations, I think FAUX, CNN, M$NBC, etc. are going to do more damage with their speculations than if they just reported what was actually going on.
