Got a customer service number I can call?

[The Straight Story]

Not too long ago I bought a product and it is not functioning as advertised.

Me and some other customers put a lot of time, and in some cases, money, into purchasing it.

The advertisement promised me that if I bought it I would get a lot of things - the end of torture, wars, end of DADT, public option, end of tax breaks for the rich, looking out for the poor and the unemployed, putting the people ahead of corporations, more money for clean energy, a change in many policies that previously were atrocious - and while I did get some of what I paid for, the major things I thought I would get are still not delivered on.

I am thankful for what I did get of course, it is really, and I mean REALLY, better than that old product I did have, but it is not what I ordered, and I am hoping my warranty is still good because there are times, like today, that I want a refund.

Not that I want to fully replace the entire product, just the parts that I am unhappy with. The part where Mine safety bills are not defeated, the part where we send less people into war, the part where we tax the poor more (schip, etc), where we give more breaks to big companies while letting poor and unemployed people suffer, where we don't give out more deep sea drilling permits, the part where poor and middle class cannot afford health care and to fix it we tell them to buy insurance or they get fined, etc and so on.

I don't mean to complain, it can always be worse and I should just say thank you for what you did and didn't do - I should be happy when someone who is gay is kicked out of the military where they were risking their lives to save mine because, someday, maybe, they won't be kicked out. At least now I know we can hope there will be change there, unlike before where we had no hope. So I am thankful for the hope.

I know I can't return what I bought, but do you think maybe there is an upgrade I can download? One that actually fixes the problems created from previous versions? Not one that says it has a lot of patches and fixes, but actually has them?

I DO like my newer version - HELL yes I do. My old version crashed daily, at least now I have some improvements. Guess I will wait until the next version comes out and has the upgrade I need. I have automatic updates turned on. So maybe, just maybe, over time the bugs from all the previous 8 years of my software nightmare might get fixed.

Please tell the developers to hurry though, because some of us cannot wait any longer. Tell them to just scrap the old version, make a stand, and write a whole new operating system and bring true change so that me and others can continue on. Not sure how many more times we can reboot and hope that doing so will fix the problems.

1. The world is not a computer program.

I don't see that as a possibility. Although there are some systematic things that do occur, and even some really fascinating possibilities like people being 'bio chipped' there are errors in that as a possibility.

However one of the ways to break someone down is to get them to think that it will end and they just have to ride it out and not make things better.

Interestingly there are going to be some disappointed people in 2013 when things don't end in 2012. I find that interesting.


Although I presume there will be another date hyped up in a few delusions after that.




An interesting story, the concept that the hospitals are ran by aliens that use bio chips was a story I was going to write one day. The thing is that delusion just has to many errors in it. Far easier to see it as a way to get people to 'think that' so that they do not trust in concepts of stronger forces of good that make more sense.

Basically the reason there are so many delusions is becuase of one thing.

All people of faith will be justified.

From that if a person wants something with thoughts of faith, and you want something else with great faith, what has to happen? Someone has to have their faith broken, or learn not to want that thing by education. Why I don't believe in praying against free will of others also. Also why some people try to hide the supernatural, since their faith is what defends them, even if only 1st defense, and not for what most think is better reasons.

So basically really bad people that are strong in faith, can get some things done by that faith in many teachings, and from there comes either battles of who has the most 'will or belief' or battles of education trying to get people to move down the same paths by understanding what is better.

Really interesting concepts.


Here is the funny part, although I will post concepts here that can be more reasoned, and try to help with thinking on what is correct before putting your heart and faith behind something, I don't do that in my local life. Basically it is most likely that many of the odd things that occur over the years are from people of faith that care about me, but have little education on many subjects. So for decades I been fielding a constant set of things trying to change me into somebody else, for the benefit of a few other people. The hypocrisy is while I am willing to show contradictions in thoughts of many people here, I won't do that with those doing that to me personally, since I would have to show them why they are not believing what they think they are, and that would crush them, even though it would correct many of the issues in my existence.

Think I am rambling a bit, but just a bit of hypocrisy from me, or acknowledgment of concepts of different size empathy levels for different people you are around.

Also the whole thought could be a well constructed trap to break empathy, so mostly I do nothing about that knowing it will get corrected. However I also do not accept the trap that it creates, while not breaking that trap, since that is a trap.
