Health Care Bill lies
Have you seen the email that rolls out lies like: all non US residents will get free insurance, there will be subsidies for all Union members and community workers like ACORN, cancer care will be regulated according to age. There are about 26 of these and they were originally posted on FreeRepublic. They are refuted on Factcheck.org, Twenty six lies about H.R. 3200.

1. ONLY 26 lies???

HCR has been a "lie-a-palooza" for the Republicans and their Tea Party since 2009 and they're STILL out there spewing lies about it to try to (somehow) get it repealed. I wish every Democrat out there would just tell Republicans to "get over it", especially since the GOP has NO alternative plans. If they're going to demand that the current health care law gets repealed, they ought to be required to tell everybody what they would replace it with that will cover at least as many people (if not more) as PPACA does. We won. They lost. Like Bill Frist said (I can't believe I'm actually agreeing with him), Republicans need to move on. If they want to propose some constructive changes to the law, fine but it's stupid and a waste of time to try to demand that it get repealed when they have no viable replacement plan. I would bet my life that nobody wants to go back to the "good old days" of being denied for "pre-existing conditions," etc. :banghead:

2. The depressing fact is...
that the majority of FreeRepublic readers have no clue or interest in fact checking, as long as it bolsters their arguments.

3. Here's a really good, condensed source for point-by-point refutation of lies about HCR:
