Jobs are back! But the pay stinks
http://money.cnn.com/2011/01/31/news/economy/low_wage_job_growth/index.htm

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- There are two problems with the jobs recovery to date. Employers haven't added enough jobs. And those they have added aren't particularly good ones.

The former has gotten a lot of attention. But the low-wage jobs that have been added are also a cause for concern.

"Growth has been concentrated in mid-wage and lower-wage industries. By contrast, higher-wage industries showed weak growth and even net losses," said Annette Bernhardt, policy co-director for the National Employment Law Project. She said that growth has been far more unbalanced than during previous job recoveries.

Bernhardt's analysis of the first seven months of 2010 found that 76% of jobs created were in low- to mid-wage industries -- those earning between $8.92 to $15 an hour, well below the national average hourly wage of $22.60.

2. That's what they have been planning all along...
I heard a CON on fox last year say he wanted minimum wage to be $2.65 cents.

3. This is following Globalization goals just as planned. Equalize
pay or living standards around the world. The West
or Developed 1st World standards too high for the
Third World.

However, there was a a big screw up due to Trade Policy
and poor management of Trade Policy. Instead of
bring the 3rd World Living Standards up they are
pushing the 1st World Living Standards down.

Making Corporations Persons and sending therm around
the world to find the cheapest to slave labor has
been the practice. This means Multinationals and
Elites get richer and richer while the masses get
poorer and middle class lose ground.

Had the multinationals gradually and I mean slowly
raised wages in those countries of cheap labor
and slave wages, an entirely different story
would be written.

4. When the talk turns to jobs, always specify Living Wage Jobs.
