Mubarak and the Star of David
Has anyone else seen this?

There are apparently some fliers/posters/pictures being handed out and to some of the Egyptian protesters that say something to the effect "30 years of dictatorship and treason" under a picture of his face etched with the star of david on his forehead.

Do the people making these consider the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel treason on Mubarak's behalf?

1. All Egypt's problems are the fault of the Jews and the Americans.

3. Israel is the "shiny object" of the middle east blowhards, much the
same way abortion is the "shiny object" of ours. It's an attempt to deflect from real issues in their own countries.

5. Miss point much?
Some of you seem to have missed the point of my post. I ask, "Do the people making these consider the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel treason on Mubarak's behalf?".

Can anyone answer that? Yes, I understand that Israel is used as a foil for things the govt. finds unseemly or inconvenient, but how; if the intent I am getting from the flier is clear to me, is a peace treaty with a neighboring country treason? And wasn't Sadat the one who signed the treaty originally?

7. Thanks.
Thank you for answering. I'll have to do some research on this. I mean, I can understand from the history of the region why they would feel animosity. What I don't understand is how a peace treaty that spares the youth the unnecessary bloodshed that could come without a treaty, could be considered a bad thing, or especially a TREASONOUS thing.
