Found another product that is really sneakily smaller! Scott
toilet tissue. I've used it for years cause it goes farther. The last package of 8 I bought has each roll shorter than they were. We noticed it because we use the Rubbermaid roll holder that you can just pop in a roll and pop it out when empty. It flies off the holder now. What scum!! They know if they made the roll smaller around, people would notice, but since not a lot have the kind of holder we do, it wouldn't be noticed by many.
This really creates an unsanitary situation! What if someone has it fly off and it rolls behind the stool, picks it up, rolls it back up and replaces it on the holder. The next person comes into the bathroom and needs to blow their nose, grabs a piece of t-paper and ends up with an infection on their face. Is it lawsuit time? The greed of large companies is astonishing!

2. Yah, I noticed that last month, and guess I'm going to have to replace
my fancy, quick-change paper holder. I don't think the rolls will go back to the longer size. Bummer!

3. I noticed this recently
We use Scott. Whatever brand my mother uses at her house is smaller that way, too.

Oh - and even WORSE: My husband noticed that the 12-pack of bottles of Guinness he bought the other day are 11.2 oz. each! This is seriously wrong!

4. I noticed it too. Put the last of my 'old' rolls up against the new package.

5. I already wrote to Star-Kist complaining about the 5oz can.
Even though I never buy Star-Kist, it was one of the few seafood companies whose websites actually worked. I actually got a respomse. They made a few excuses, then said they really didn't take out a full ounce of tuna, mostly liquid.

ymmv.

Write them a letter, switch brands if you find a better value - and let them know why you did it.
