Although medicare for all is a good option also.
As said then, the structure for the argument had to be established, and the public option established that framework.

when his opinion actually mattered he decided to support a healthcare bill that didn't have a public option, even after promising that he wouldn't. Now that his opinion doesn't matter he talks a great game, thanks for that.
