"This gripping contest of gridiron greats is designed to distract you from the fact that you are politically and economically oppressed and exploited!"

2. I went to a World Series game some years ago on a business written-off ticket..

4. My ex-partner is a Buccaneers devotee...
...and oh, how he danced the Futterwakken on a mountaintop when they won the Splendid Bowl (however many years back it was)!
:party::fistbump::woohoo::bounce:

As you can tell, I'm cheerfully ignorant about football :dunce:...so I go along with the immortal Peppermint Patty's description of the football's Highest Holy Day as "The Splendid Bowl".

PLAY BALL!...or do I mean "FORE!"?

I always get confused...:crazy:

6. I'm sure it was Marcie that screwed up the Super Bowl name & not the Tom-boyish Peppermint Patty.
;-)

Peppermint Patty: Marcie, what answer did you put down for question 4?
Marcie: 6 x 12 is 72.
Peppermint Patty: 72? I put down green!
Marcie: *Green*? Why did you put down green?
Peppermint Patty: I thought it was a trick question.
