2. Unrec for ageism.
Disagreeing without name-calling and ageist stereotyping is possible.

"Do not post messages that are bigoted against (or grossly insensitive toward) any person or group of people based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, lack of religion, disability, physical characteristics, or region of residence."

I cannot understand why "age" is not included in that list.

Of course Palin would've been in charge of foreign policy, so she would've already buzzed the crowd from her helicopter, The Wolf-Killer.

27. Palin would have tried to shoot the Sphinx from her helicopter, thinking it was some big-ass wolf.
And she would have taken credit for shooting its nose off.

7. There are 36 Senators age 67 or older. Thirteen of them are older
than John McCain. There are even a couple in their late 80s.

Inasmuch as this is an ageist OP, how would any of these Senators handle voting for anything to do with the revolution in Egypt? They do have some input, do they not?

11. Probably Little Different Than What President Obama Is Doing...
While Gramps would probably have let the economy tank I don't see him handling this incident differently than what's going on. It's a tricky game but one with narrow provisions. Any overt US involvement would imperil not just a peaceful outcome in Egypt but other allies, not only Israel, in the region. I give him credit for knowing the complicated relationships involved.

Now if you asked about Bolton or Mooselini or Balloon Head, that'd be another story.

:hi:

28. Exactly the same way Obama has.
With a few odd exceptions, like the Cheney Administration, US foreign policy is a pretty monolithic thing that doesn't change every four years.
