1. It's not a HD channel
but I guess we will settle for it.

4. Nor will I likely ever be able to get that...
Bummer.... Maybe if ICE doesn't knock out all the online streaming sites, someone might make it available? Shit.

16. Nor can I.
And, there doesn't seem to be anywhere one can live stream it. If this is true, it's very unfortunate. Damn.

3. You'll need to pay extra for Current TV for most providers just like MSNBC
Thom Hartmann commented on Feb. 2 (23 minute mark) how MSNBC charges a premium and thus you can't watch it on most basic cable packages, but you can see Fox News on basic cable. So for those of you on a budget or who choose not to have subscription TV you may watch it online.

5. That's promising. I do get it and don't watch it
much. Maybe it might evolve into a real cable news channel.

6. Never heard of it.
Wish he could get at gig on HBO or Showtime, kind of like Bill Maher's Real Time.

I'll try to find it.

12. I was thinking the same thing but they'd both probably only offer a limited
set like Bill has, one episode a week for whatever the season is.

Stupid current tv doesn't show my provider in their channel finder but I get it.

15. Check out the show Vanguard
On Current TV. When my little brother visited a few months ago he got me watching it. Excellent channel. Viral Video Film School is great too.

17. Current is doing the best journalism on TV today
It is my favorite channel. When North Korea detained journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling, the women were on assignment for Current Vanguard.
If this is Keith's new home, I'd be happy as a clam, and surprised as well, as Current is so small it feels like the channel they make just for me.

18. I'm adding that 'public affairs channel' is not a good label
for current, really. News and Culture. They cover serious news as well as arts and events like Burning Man, they have Infomania, which is a sort of pop culture daily show jr. Rotten Tomatoes movie reviews. Public Affairs makes it sound like C-Span 2 or something. In fact, many adults I know think it is a channel for young people only. They are incorrect, or just teetering on senility. Good TV.

19. Just an FYI, if you have a Roku box you can get Current Tv shows
in the Newschannel section (you'll need to subscribe but it's free). There's little doubt that they will be featuring KO. :)

20. Oh, this would be good news indeed.
I'm a regular Current TV watcher. Love infoMania, love Vanguard. Getting Olbermann as an anchor would be a huge boon, and possibly the start of a real left wing news network.

21. From Al Gore's Twitter feed (this is interesting)...
"Welcome to Current RT @KeithOlbermann Greetings from Keith Olbermann, Chief News Officer of Current Media! And awayyyyyy we go!"

So he's getting more than just some stock, eh? Best of luck in your new venture!
