Can anyone answer a COBRA question for me? Is the reduction still active?

That's pretty much it.

My wife is getting laid off at end of month, and its insane to put her on my plan.

I can't find when it expires... I know it's been extended a few times

1. Doesn't look like it

The Unemployment Compensation Extension Act of 2010 signed by the President on July 22, 2010, did not extend the COBRA premium reduction. Individuals who qualified on or before May 31, 2010 may continue to pay reduced premiums for up to 15 months, as long as they are not eligible for another group health plan or Medicare. If your COBRA continuation coverage lasts for more than 15 months, you will need to pay the full amount to continue your COBRA continuation coverage. See the Fact Sheet and FAQs for important information on maintaining your COBRA coverage after your subsidy expires.

It is possible it was extended again and they simply haven't updated the FAQ but I doubt it.

Sorry man.

4. One other point.
The Cobra subsidy ONLY applies if the person has no coverage under a spouse plan. Since your plan offers coverage (no matter how bad or expensive) your wife would have been ineligible for the Cobra subsidy even before May 2010.
