3.5 yr old news I missed completely. Remember the Chinese tainted medicine furor?

I recall people saying heads should roll but I completely missed the fact that one did. Am I alone in missing this?

consequences and the medical community was very aware of it when it first came to light. The FDA did make sure to report it to Dr's, Pharms, & Hospitals.

What I can't figure out is how you can make it milk with out it being milk or making soy sauce with hair. To be honest, if it says it is made in China and I even think I might remotely use it in the kitchen....out it goes or I put it back on the shelf.

...it doesn't root out the corruption (and power playing) that caused it.

3. It's an ongoing problem..

I get a variety of medical newsletters and bulletins. Every other week it seems there are recalls of injectible medications containing particulate matter. Caps of cheap, deteriorating materials on vials from China are the suspect. Virtually all the base ingredients used by pharmaceutical companies originate from Asia, and many pharmaceutical companies are relocating their plants to China.
