2. How did a poster remove his/her own post?
Edited on Wed Feb-09-11 08:26 PM by WhaTHellsgoingonhere
I responded to a post that asked, "Who won?"

After explaining that the election is Feb 22, but the polls are open now, the post was gone.

Was it a mod?

6. PROUD of my vote. Think of it as a primary, barbiegeek
where you have more than one Democrat to choose from.

;)

12. Oh, a Primary-My Bad. Sorry. That is not what I thought you meant
By all means vote for your choice in a Democratic Primary. I thought you meant a regular election and was shocked. My goof. Apologies all around.

7. Absolutely amazing...
Edited on Wed Feb-09-11 08:33 PM by catabryna
Here I am in Oregon, listening to Chicago's Progressive Talk, and absolutely no mention of a mayoral primary over there in Chicago... hmmmm... makes one wonder, dontcha think? I've been listening all day. Me thinks you have a really screwed up progressive station.

What do you think?

Edited to add: Or perhaps you didn't vote for him today because there was no election???

8. I listen to WCPT every weekday...

Ed Schults and Thom Hartmann.

Stephanie Miller isn't my thing, and Norman Coleman begins in the old Ed Show spot. I'm watching Cenk, now. Of course, those are national programs.

Dick Kay covers the city on Saturdays, if you're interested.

I LOVE WCPT

9. I am boycotting Portland's station...
Edited on Wed Feb-09-11 08:45 PM by catabryna
it's a Clear Channel station. I'd listen, but I'm tired of the rip off advertisers.

Edited to add: It's difficult for me to listen to local progressive radio and have nothing but BS ABC and CNN news with nothing local except for a couple of hours a day.

10. Election is Feb 22. Polls are open now for early voting.
Do other cities have early voting?

I think it's  especially when there's 20 inches of snow on the ground followed by single digit temps.

11. Thank you for the info...
We have an entire vote by mail system here. I considered early voting, but one would think you would still hear about it on Chicago's Progressive Talk station. Again, thanks! :hi:
