I Don't Get The Dire Fears Of The Dead Enders Opposing The Repeal Of DADT |
|
Of my gay friends I have two that are active Army and one that is retired USAF. They are no different than my other friends, straight and gay...There is still such a thing as convention and they aren't going to act any different after the ban as they did before the ban. They will be who they always were and will be.

They still have to go home and get re-elected. THEIR consituents want the brouhaha from them and they HAVE to do it to get re-elected. Watch the Dementeds in the house. They'll be running on a repeal of the repeal in 12.

3. Polls Show Overwhelming Public Support |
|
And like with most but not all legislation it becomes more popular if it passes.
I don't think there is any region in the nation that wants to repeal the repeal of DADT.
