1. I really like how Jon Stewart took McCain to task for his bigoted views |
|
and showed how the history books will forever remember McCain as the public figure who held on too long to his bigoted views.

Politics is especially a "what have you done/said lately?" endeavor. McCain will be remembered more for his sad and transparent fall, while desperately trying to cling to the extreme right, than for anything he did before. The "Maverick" thing will not be able to be mentioned without also pointing out what a joke that notion later became.

thought that Mr. Mccain as well as Palin were disgraceful human beings, on the border of neanderthal with their ideals, morals and ethics! but, that's just me.. heck, Palin does remind me of a prehistoric man hauling her husband around by his hair!!! wouldn't surprise me to find out she clubs him, too!

4. Don't need to read the article, I've known Mccain is pathetic |
|
for years. During the Clinton Admin McCain told a "joke" during a fund raiser calling Chelsea Clinton ugly. At the time Chelsea was about 14 and had to be at the height of a young girls insecurity about her appearance. I lost respect for two people when I read about the joke. McCain for telling it and President Clinton for not taking action (direct and brutal) against Mccain.

7. But the liberal media just loves him |
|
He's a "maverick" doncha know.
I never watch TV news but it wouldn't surprise me if they were still pushing that tired old story.
Our media are not very creative nor original.
