Why DOES Ben Nelson always look so bitter and sullen?

He's got a Senate seat for life, he always gets his way, he was able to water everything the president wanted down to nothing...shouldn't that be ENOUGH for the guy?

What could he possibly have to feel so freaking RESENTFUL about?

1. Because he knows he's on the wrong side of history
It must gall him to know that he is part of the most important legislative body in the world and is doomed to be its' most insignificant member.

He's not a leader in that body, hasn't been there long enough.

What's he unhappy about now?
