By golly, I believe the Republicans have figured out how |
|
to drown the government in a bathtub...they thought cutting back until there was no government left would do it, but it didn't. Now they have the magic key..cut taxes until there is no more money coming into the treasury. Once the taxes coming in have dribbled down to an anemic trickle, voila!!! Government can't run, goes broke and it's drowned. That's what they mean by "trickle down".

Suddenly it ain't just the federal govt that is drowning...it is everyone's little local govt, and the city govts and the state govts...oops.
Guess they forgot about all that Federal aid and the subsidies that kept all those little folks going..

that will buy them in order to raise money for bombs and bullets.
Then we will all have to pay off the debt. Through taxes or blood.

6. It took me awhile, but I caught on during the boy king's reign. |

All the pieces were there; we have to put them together.
I think my final epiphany came when the boy king was pushing like a used-car salesman to eliminate Social Security in favor of putting our retirement money in the stock market -- which was right before the stock market crashed.
