So, here I am in Amsterdam and soon to be Germany... |
|
for a little VaCa.
As we have been walking around Amsterdam, we went through Vondelpark and as we came out we saw a polical sign, which we took a picture of. Was not sure what it was about, but it had two politicans dressed like clowns in a car. Some British dude came up to us and was a rather chatty man, since we were on the topic of politics he mentioned he had workd for......HALLIBURTON. When he told me, he could see the disgust on my face. Jokingly, he said "plase dont shoot me!". While working for satan enterprises, he said his job wsa to sell SAND back to the Saudis, for HALLIBURTON.
I through in "Cheney is an evil fucking wanker" and he laughted he in agreement.

1. we met a chatty English guy when we were in Amsterdam |
|
we thought he was shady at first because he walked right up to us, at night on a side street, and started talking like he knew us. But, apparently he was just friendly.

2. selling sand to the Saudis, is it harder than selling snow to an Eskimo? |
|
Sorry if Eskimo is not socially acceptable, it is an old joke so I quoted it accurately.

before Cheney took over- in one of my favorite antique haunts in the UAE. You don't often meet Westerners in Sharjah, so we struck-up a conversation.
He was actually a shockingly nice guy.
Maybe retirement has chilled him out???
