The news now consists of two sides. Not subject to any scrutiny. Obvious lies, are unchallenged. These serve more to gather adherents, more than assert truth. That being accomplished, the news organ grouses at the insinuation that their presentation is propagandist bunk. Those catapulting the propaganda often sneer and smirk, knowing full well they are utterly without integrity. The so called balanced presentation is scripted. And if guests stray from the script, several techniques are used to get back to script.
Many tell us that our problem with labels applied particularly to liberals, such as socialist, or traitor, or unconstitutional, are moot. Those things don't mean what they used to. Now, they mean what they mean. This makes analysis of any position or insinuation useless. Unless you are educated, there is no rational basis for debate.
The partisan trolls, utter their completely skewed presentations, without owing to any scholarship, and dare those opposed, to refute. This task is impossible, as we don't agree on definitions, syntax, or a=a.
Without somehow clawing our way back to refusing to make bunk equal to facts, we are entering a new dark ages. With deadly implications. No wonder our education system is failing. The right wants to direct the shaping of young minds, to their ends. They want to issue word definition lists. And dissallow many topics. Try talking about equity of income distribution, and all you will get is insinuations of class warfare.
Confront irrationality now, or suffer being last in relation to the rest of the world. Unlike the previous dark ages, this time it is regional. there is no Catholic Church, to set everyone equal. This time, America loses. Alone.
