Obama begins new era of cooperation with GOP teabaggers
Obama always talked about his dream of bipartisanship with the republicans and his dream is becoming reality.
I can't wait to see what happens next when the new GOP House and Obama start working together for two years.

I expect the excuses given for the continuing caving on Obama's part will have to get really creative and eventually become "night is day" logic.

2. "Eventually"?
We're way past "night is day" logic. I'm reading lectures about what a sweet deal this is for practically everyone except the wealthy, but there's something in the works for them, too, if we'll just be patient.

4. Well, what he can do? People didn't turn out to vote and gave him
a Tea-Bagger House to work with. The Congressional Democrats have been punting and punting the tax cut bill until the 11th hour, and this is tax compromise the result.

Sorry, but such is the reality. The "professional left" have been harping on Obama from the get-go, and this is the result. I assume they're going to make lots of dough off of angry progressives visiting their sites and going on television to promote said sites, but fact remains, had they'd been less whiny and more constructive in their criticism, perhaps the Progressives who elected to stay home, wouldn't have, and the Republicans, Tea-Baggers wouldn't have felt emboldened to point to them as support that Obama is evuhl, and anyone who votes for another Democrat is a loozer.
